Beach wedding in Phuket
Brianna – Rob

Beach wedding in Phuket

A romantic wedding ceremony, with their feet in the sand and surrounded by all their family and closest friends. This is how Brianna and Robert envisioned their perfect wedding day. What could be better than a beach wedding in Thailand?
The exceptionally good flight connections make the Thai island of Phuket the perfect destination for a tropical beach wedding with a large group of guests.

The wedding planning

The Australian couple contacted us about 8 months before the planned wedding day. Brianna, the bride, had very specific ideas about what the setup on the beach should look like and how the whole wedding day should run.

Brianna wanted floral decorations of white orchids, roses and lots of greenery in the form of ivy vines. A simple, wooden triangle was to serve as the central background element for the wedding ceremony on the beach. Brianna had found this triangular arch in a photo on Instagram and wanted one just like it.

(By the way, do you already know our own Instagram page? No? Then go ahead and subscribe 😉 )

Our construction team quickly drew up a plan and built this arch especially for Brianna. The simple flower arrangement on the arch was decorated with pampas grass for a slightly rustic touch.

Brianna had asked us for another interview during the planning phase. This time it was to be secret and without her fiancé. She was hoping to create a surprise for Rob and asked us for help.

The old VW T2 Bulli has always been the car-loving groom’s favorite classic car. Rob would be flabbergasted and bursting with joy if his bride drove up in such a vehicle on their wedding day.

So we set off on a search and actually found what we were looking for. We found a VW T2 Bulli in almost perfect condition and the owner agreed to rent out his treasure on Rob and Brianna’s wedding day.

The wedding preparations

Finally, after all the months of planning, the wedding day was just around the corner. While Rob and his two groomsmen were getting ready at their hotel in Patong, Brianna and her bridesmaids had rented a private villa very close to the wedding beach.

Here the ladies were able to indulge in their wedding preparations undisturbed, drink a glass of sparkling wine to calm their nerves (and of course because it tastes good ? ) and have their hair and make-up done by our booked stylist.

In the meantime, Rob and Brianna’s parents looked after the children and we also hired 2 babysitters to support us.

The wedding ceremony

The groom and all the guests were picked up on time from their hotels in Patong by our chauffeur service. When they arrived at the beach, everything was already prepared and set up.

And as it should be, everything was now just waiting for the bride and her entourage so that the ceremony could begin. As agreed, the bride was picked up from her villa together with the bridesmaids in a vintage van.

The groom couldn’t believe his eyes when the T2 drove up. His excitement was only diverted when he finally got to see his beautiful bride. Brianna was walked down the aisle by her father in the traditional manner.
The English wedding speech was written by Thomas especially for Robbie and Brianna. In addition to the classic elements of a wedding ceremony such as the “I do”, the vows and the exchange of rings, Thomas also went into the couple’s personal love story.

Thomas had received the details from Rob and Brianna in countless Skype conversations during the planning phase.
And so Robbie Brianna celebrated a wonderful, romantic wedding ceremony on the beach in Phuket, Thailand. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, the two said yes to each other and promised to marry.

At the end of the ceremony, Thomas pronounced Rob Brianna husband and wife to thunderous applause from the guests and announced the newlyweds. The guests stood up from their seats, formed a trellis and welcomed the newlyweds with a shower of flowers.
