On April 21, 2025, we at Phuket Wedding Service had the privilege of accompanying a very special wedding: the emotional and stylish beach wedding of Olivia and Malte at the beautiful Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach.

This wedding was not just a ceremony, but an experience – carefully planned, with great attention to detail and completely tailored to the wishes of the bride and groom.

A day full of anticipation and relaxation

The day before, Olivia and Malte treated themselves to a relaxing break at the hotel’s spa to start their special day in peace and quiet. While the setup work began at midday, Olivia was being prepared in her room by a professional hair and makeup team for her big moment – full of anticipation and excitement.

The setup: Elegant. Tropical. Timeless.

For their wedding design, the couple chose a classic and elegant theme in white with delicate green accents: Lush white flowers, flowing fabrics, palm leaves, and stylish lanterns created a dreamy backdrop on the resort’s private sandy beach. Tiffany chairs completed the look – stylishly arranged overlooking the turquoise sea. As it was a particularly sunny day, elegant parasols provided shade and comfort for the approximately 30 guests.

The ceremony: Emotional and unforgettable

Around 4:30 p.m., the guests gathered with the groom at the festively decorated wedding arch. At 5 p.m., the moment arrived: Olivia, with a radiant smile, walked barefoot from the resort through the soft sand – surrounded by palm trees and completely in the moment. The setting was intimate and private – only the couple’s closest loved ones were present.

The ceremony itself was lively and full of laughter – a true reflection of Olivia and Malte. One highlight: when a plane flew along the water in the distance during the exchange of vows, it almost seemed like a scene from a movie.

They sealed their union with a kiss under rose petals and soap bubbles, accompanied by applause and heartfelt congratulations.

Empfang & Dinner unter den Sternen

While the newly married couple set off for a romantic photo shoot along the beach, the guests were treated to fine canapés and used the time to make personal entries in the guestbook.

By sunset, the dinner setup was complete: white tables with stylish fairy lights above the dance floor, a generous Thai buffet including a live cooking station and relaxed lounge music from the DJ created a warm, elegant atmosphere.

There was laughter, dancing, and celebration – barefoot in the sand, accompanied by soap bubbles and boundless joie de vivre. A particularly charming touch: on the dance floor, lively German pop hits alternated with Thai music – a successful fusion of both cultures that led to many joyful surprises. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Olivia and Malte opted for a creative confection made of fresh tropical fruits – perfect for this special location.

Finally, the sky offered a small natural spectacle with distant lightning – but the rain waited until the last round of dancing had been danced.
