The bridal bouquet – Getting married in Thailand
The bridal bouquet
Of course, you don’t have to do without your bridal bouquet when you get married in Thailand.
Quite the opposite: after all, the overall decoration of the wedding is based on the bridal bouquet, so that everything is harmonious in terms of color and theme.
In Thailand, tropical, colorful flowers are a natural choice for the bridal bouquet. Various types of orchids, lotus flowers, chrysanthemums, lilies or strelitzia make a wonderfully exotic bridal bouquet.
But of course classic variations with roses, gypsophila, dahlias, carnations, etc. are also possible. Just let us know what you like during the planning stage.
In the following gallery you will find some sample bouquets for inspiration.

The bridal bouquet toss
The tradition of the bridal bouquet toss also dates back to ancient times.
Brides were considered lucky charms and this luck rubbed off on the wedding guests if they touched the bride or, even better, were able to get hold of a piece of fabric from the wedding dress.
This sometimes went so far that the poor bride no longer knew how to defend herself and could only distract the guests by throwing the bouquet and the “mob” ran after the supposedly even bigger symbol of happiness.
This is how the tradition of throwing bouquets was born.
Nowadays, this ritual is generally performed among unmarried bridesmaids or female guests.
All the unmarried ladies gather together and the bride throws the bouquet in a high arc behind her. According to legend, the bridesmaid who catches the bouquet is the next to be married. This tradition is still very popular today, even at our beach weddings in Thailand.
