Beach Wedding in Khao Lak
It was no question that Nicole and Aleksandar would say „I-Do“ during a romantic destination beach wedding in Khao Lak.
After all, the two have been traveling to the holiday resort in the south of Thailand for many years.
Thailand and especially Khao Lak had become something of a second home for our newlyweds.
After Nicole contacted us and expressed her basic wishes, it quickly became clear that Buddhist, Thai traditions should also play a role on the wedding day.
And so, before the western beach wedding in Khao Lak, we also planned a monk blessing ceremony in a beautiful temple.
This typical Buddhist blessing is also suitable for non-Buddhists and is very impressive. According to the Thai belief, this blessing brings happiness and harmony to the newlyweds.
This ceremony includes praying of the monks, blessing of the couple with holy water, and giving gifts and donations to the monks.
The Wedding Ceremony
In the meantime everything was set up and prepared for the western wedding ceremony on the nearby beach, Nicole & Aleksandar (and of course all guests) still had enough time to visit the beautiful temple area and do a small photo shoot.
In the late afternoon, after the sun was already a little lower on the horizon and the heat of the day subsided somewhat, we drove our small wedding party to the beach.
The wedding speech was of course held in German and was a combination of western wedding elements and a Thai blessing.
The water blessing ceremony is the actual wedding ritual in Thai (Rod Nam Sang). The bride and groom receive the blessing of families and friends.
This ritual is ideal for integrating your guests into the ceremony.
The jubilation was great after Nicole and Aleksandar said their „I-Do´s“ and their wedding vows and of course this had to be toasted first.
Of course, the wedding cake could not be missing. Aleksandar expressly requested, it should be a Black Forest cherry cake. 😉
Transporting one at 35 degrees in the shade is always a challenge and only works with a lot of ice and thick styrofoam boxes .;)
Our photo and video team of course accompanied us all day long and recorded every step and step of this special day.

I would even say that our expectations were exceeded, from the organization, decoration, photography over the entire process, it couldn’t have been better.
All people who were integrated by Thomas Seite, friendly, nice and funny (I’m thinking of the photographer at the temple when he involuntarily lay down :), yes I think we all had a super nice day with unforgettable moments. All in all, thanks again for our dream that you made true!
