Monks Blessing in Phuket

Janine & Michael are enthusiastic and experienced travelers to Thailand. On their first vacation in Thailand many years ago, they immediately fell in love with the thai culture and the lovely thai people. Since then, both have been spending their holidays in the land of smiles every year.

Instead of having a classic western wedding ceremony, it was immediately clear that only a monastic blessing in a Buddhist temple can be considered for Janines & Michaels wedding in Thailand.

 Wat Chalong was quickly selected for the blessing ceremony. This temple is the largest and most famous temple on Phuket.

Photo shoot, Wedding Cake & Ring Exchange

Despite all the exotic touch, Michael and Janine did not want to miss two traditional things at their wedding: a small wedding cake and very important, the ring exchange.

And so, after the monk’s blessing, we started out for a small photo shoot and found ourselves on a small beach at sunset.

This is where the cake was delivered, and Michael and Janine exchanged the rings surrounded by their closest friends. A completely successful and unforgettable day.
