Krabi

THE BEST WEDDING LOCATIONS IN THAILAND

Would you like to get married in Thailand, but you are still not sure whether Phuket is the right destination? Then we would like to introduce you to some alternatives, because Thailand has a variety of great locations for your dream wedding. At this point we present the best wedding locations in Thailand.

Krabi

Krabi is both a province on the west coast of Thailand and the provincial capital. Krabi Town itself is far less touristy than Phuket and so many couples only use this station as a stopover. The highlights of the province, on the other hand, include Had Yao, Ao Nang and Railay. With gorgeous white sandy beaches, turquoise water and bizarre limestone cliffs, the province is one of the most popular wedding locations in Thailand. With this backdrop in the background, your wedding photos are guaranteed to be an eye-catcher! Krabi attracts adventurous couples and nature lovers. Here you can combine a romantic dream wedding on a secluded sandy beach with a varied honeymoon in a very simple (and usually inexpensive) way.

Breathtakingly beautiful: Ao Nang & Railay
Ao Nang is known for dream beaches and the relaxed flair, which many guests enjoy. Ao Nang is also the starting point for day trips by long tail boat to various nearby islands, or even to Railay.

Railay (also: Rai Leh), a peninsula surrounded by sea and rocks, can only be reached by water. Railay is particularly popular with honeymooners who want to take a few days off from the hustle and bustle of the wedding. It never gets boring: Railay is world-famous for climbing, but sporty couples can also snorkel, dive or go on a kayak tour here.

About this destination

Generally

Just like Phuket, Krabi is also on the Andaman Sea, i.e. the west coast of Thailand. Located about 800km south of Bangkok, the province of Krabi covers about 4,700 km² and includes more than 130 smaller and larger islands. The provincial capital Krabi Town has 32,000 inhabitants.

How to get there

Krabi has its own airport which is mostly served by domestic flights with the local budget airlines. This makes traveling via Bangkok child's play for many couples and their guests. Alternatively, Krabi can of course also be reached by train or bus.

Best travel time

The best time to visit Krabi is from November to April, when the region is not too hot. Especially at this time of year, a cooling sea breeze often blows in the evening hours, which provides a welcome cool down.

With its vantage points, cave systems and hiking trails, Khao Khanab Nam also invites you to explore. Emerald Pool Sra Morakot – A little more hidden and intimate is this hot spring in the pristine jungle of Khao Nor Juji. The emerald-colored water invites you to take a dip and offers the perfect natural spa experience to unwind and unwind. Climbing - Krabi is famous for its limestone walls which attract climbers from all over the world. Especially sporty & adventurous couples get their money's worth here!
